Susan Moore, LSW, CPC, owner of Life Dimensions, is a Certified Professional Coach and Psychotherapist.
My background and training as a professional coach, therapist, and manager with a large corporation have given me a solid grounding in the dynamics of personal and professional development and meaningful change. I work with clients who are seeking to fulfill their potential and experience more genuine satisfaction in both their careers and personal lives.
My experience prior to founding Life Dimensions has included
9 years in management with the American Psychological Association;
founding and directing the Couples Center of Shadyside, where I worked with couples and individuals on relationship development, communication skills, and conflict resolution; and
working at a women's counseling center, where I conducted workshops and provided therapy for issues such as career development, separation and divorce, anxiety or depression, and stress-management.
I achieved my certification as a professional coach at the Hudson Institute, a respected training organization that is accredited by the International Coach Federation. I am licensed with the state of Pennsylvania and hold a BA in Psychology and English from Rice University and a master's degree in clinical social work. I have completed postgraduate training in positive psychology with Dr. Martin Seligman, author of Learned Optimism and Authentic Happiness, and am certified to administer assessments such as the Myers Briggs Type Indicator.
My coaching clients have included individuals employed by PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Rand Corporation, Carnegie Mellon University, leading Pittsburgh law firms and nonprofit organizations, as well as self-employed individuals and those with smaller businesses. I am a member of the Pittsburgh Coaches Association and serve on their Board of Directors.
